Went to II Posto for a friends birthday. It was our first time and there wasn’t anything that stood out about our experience. The team waiting that they do lead to a slow and inconsistent dining experience; with little things forgotten. My wife didn’t want to drink so she ordered an Italian soda and there was so much ice in the drink it was gone in a few sips. The food was good but by no means the best upscale Italian I’ve had. There’s a limited vegetarian selection if that matters to you. Overall, an okay experience.
The pastas were really good. Well cooked and highly cared for Italian food. I think the appetizers were a bit lackluster but we were in there pretty late, and maybe the chefs only had enough concentration left for the main dishes...they were amazing! If you’re craving high end pasta, this isn’t a bad choice at all.
The food was very disappointing. Lack of flavor in anything - I had to request salt and pepper but still didn't finish any of the courses. All three courses were also all room temperature. I couldn't tell if the calamari was supposed to be cold and wished my pasta was at least warm. Staff was friendly and it is a cool spot but that's all I can say good about my dining experience here.
Great detail in the food and in the entire place. Portion sizes were perfect. Staff was very knowledgeable.
Great food. Lovely staff. Covid safe.
It was a very cool place with tasty dishes and cocktails. I do not recommend the tart with parsley. It was a parsley cake that was not well received by our table.
Wow! What a wonderful dining experience. First, the new space is beautiful. Second, their staff is beyond amazing. They were both knowledgeable and attentive. Third, the food is on a different level. Everything is made is care.
Delicious food but a bit small of the portions. Expensive. A glass of chardonnay was $16/5 ounce pour or $22/9 ounce pour. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Menu changes regularly. Nice patio for summer dining. too. If you have $$$ to splurge, the entrees are delicious. The burrata was one of the best we've ever had. The pork belly and chicken outstanding. The cauliflower risotto creamy and yum but pricey for the portion. Wasn't impressed with the desserts.
This restaurant is very underwhelming. It's expensive (which is fine) but I don't feel that the food lives up to the price. The portions are small and the flavor is just not there. The location and atmosphere are great! The waiter was okay... he was short with us and hardly stopped over. We ordered dessert and I was disappointed. The donuts were hard, dry and flavorless. I left hungry. One of our guests ended up getting very sick after eating here. We won't be back.
Great Italian restaurant with wonderful atmosphere, service, and food. I skipped lunch so I ordered the Pappardelle (red sauce), spaghetti with snow crab, and an apple turnover for dessert. Everything was amazing! Very flavorful without tasting or feeling too heavy. Definitely would come back.
Delicious food and great atmosphere. I loved that I never felt hurried and we were able to sit and enjoy conversation between courses. This was my 3rd restaurant week restaurant this week and was my absolute favorite. Definitely going to be back.
Ok meal, good service. This is a foodie place, not a typical Italian place. I found the food good but not great. I had the roasted chicken and calamari starter. Both ok but odd to me.
We walked in and the team offered us options, upstairs, outside or two seats at the Chef's counter. We took the counter and what an amazing night. The food was outstanding, the chef answered questions, we had amazing drinks, a perfect dessert and an exceptional evening. It was also pretty cool that we were sat right next to the Chef's parents that night so everyone was in great spirits. The Scallops were PERFECT as were the mussels.
Delicious! Really surprised by the mediocre reviews here because we just had the tasting menu and were blown away! 3 people, 5 stunning courses, 15 different dishes for $65 a piece? Worth every cent. One of the best tasting menu experiences I have had. So good.
Everything was good and staff is great but nothing was exceptional. However, with its outdoor seating this is a very popular spot.
The food was decent, but portions were small for what you get and how much you pay for it. Service was slow. The waitress came around every 20 minutes or so, and it took a while to get drinks delivered after ordering. Even then some of the drink orders were wrong or would be forgotten completely. The atmosphere was cool, and the location was great. Overall, it was a very underwhelming experience.
Wanted to love this place but had a mixed experience. Atmosphere is very cool. Service was slow but nice when they came around. The appetizers were delicious - calamari and burrata - but three of the four main courses we got fell very flat. The tortellini was downright bad (undercooked, cold, and no flavor at all), and the gnocchi and chicken milanese were plain. Server never came over to ask how everything was, so we just ate it. On the flip side, the risotto was quite good. The restaurant was freezing, and we were sitting next to the kitchen and are a group of people that rarely get cold. I'd probably give this place one more chance, but not a third if it disappointed again.
Lovely atmosphere, excellent service overall, although somewhat slow at first. Very knowledgeable and engaging server and sommelier. Free Valet parking which is really nice because parking on the street area is very challenging. Valet was so nice & professional as well! Recommended!
Go and enjoy! Taste is on point great ppl!
I had trouble finding something on the menu I could eat but with the waitresses help I ended up with a yummy dinner.Outside dining available.
Our expectations were high for our takeout during quarantine. I thought this would be a nice birthday dinner. Needless to say none of our expectations were met. We ordered food for 6 and got food enough for probably 3 people. “Cook at home” didn’t come with all ingredients nor the instructions. For as expensive as this food is, it was not worth it in any way. We expected more food and better service for the expense. Very disappointed.
